I would advise against wading into the cesspool that is the "Albert Lea Discussion Forum." It's not a resource that I would trust. People who hate their neighbors get on there and, thanks to anonymity, they can say whatever they want.
It is basically a bitchfest about what is wrong with Albert Lea. And while this blog is pretty much just a lamer version of a slightly more civil bitchfest about what is wrong with Albert Lea, I can promise you one thing: nobody calling themselves "white pride" and using the German neo-Nazi slogan "weisser stolz" or "white pride" is going to be a regular poster here.
You see, there's this thing called a moderator and, well. Sometimes you really can censor the right people for the right reasons and yeah. Maybe. You. Should.
If you look at the post above, and the racist sentiments expressed there, you will see what I'm talking about. Websites frequently moderate their discussion threads to weed out this sort of thing. That's not happening in Albert Lea. The mere presence of someone like this is indicative of a tolerance for racist attitudes and ideas. It impeaches whatever credibility the site may have and it renders what goes on there little more than a snide, small-town gossip forum.
